Working with your Bestie might seem to be the perfect idea, after all you both can accompany each other to office together, have lunches, tea breaks together and most importantly you will think about talking to each other all day long. Although these reasons may seem to be like the perfect situation to work in, but we at Khurki think it’s not a good idea. Here are a few reasons why we think BFFs should not work together. You can tell us if you differ on them:
He/she may do the job better
There is no doubt that best friends act as cheerleaders and support in our life, but when you both work together you both will be vying for the same project or promotion. If you both are working together, there is a possibility that one of you will get ahead faster, this might create tiffs between you two.

It can be distracting
We all go to office to work and earn our living, don’t we? Unfortunately, working with your Bestie can prove to be a big distraction all day long, because you both will be spending most of your time chit-chatting, gossiping and discussing unnecessary things. This will result in missing deadlines and this will get you in your boss’ hit list!

You will have nothing to talk about later
The most important reason of having a Bestie is to have someone to talk about each and everything happening in your life – from professional to personal life. But when you and your best friend are working together and spending more time together each day, you might have nothing to talk about on weekends when you both plan to hang out.

It can damage your friendship
Spending too much time with your Bestie can cause unnecessary fights and arguments. If you are always together you might start interfering in each other’s life and the need for space may permanently damage your friendship.

You expect his/her attention
If you and your Bestie have always been together through childhood, school and college you might get jealous when your best friend gets close or comfortable with office colleagues. You may start feeling ignored and will eventually fear that someone will take your place.
