But it was not always him on the show being sarcastic, but other characters as well. Here are a few moments of all of them being sarcastic of Chandler Bing!
Phoebe
The one with Phoebe’s wedding
Monica: All right, look, I need you at the rehearsal dinner tonight at 1800 hours.
Phoebe: Uh huh. Ok. What time is that?
Monica: You don’t know military time?
Phoebe: Why, I must have been in missile training the day they taught that.
Ross
The one with the home study
Rachel: Ross, those things go like 40 miles an hour! Okay, and there’s that moment at the top when you just don’t know if you’re going to return back to earth!
Ross: Space is filled with orbiting children.
Monica
The one where Ross got high
Rachel: Hey Mon look! I’m melting butter.
Monica: That’s great Rach. You now have the cooking skills of a hot day.
Joey
The one where Rachel finds out
Chandler: Come on, Ross? Remember back in college, when he fell in love with Carol and bought her that ridiculously expensive crystal duck?
Rachel: What did you just say?
Chandler: ahem… um… Crystal duck.
Rachel: No, no, no… the, um, the… ‘love’ part?
Chandler: F-hah… flennin…
Rachel: Oh… my God.
Chandler: [rubbing his temples] Oh, no no no no no…
Joey: That’s good, just keep rubbing your head. That’ll turn back time.
Ross
The one with Phoebe’s birthday dinner
This is where Rachel gets paranoid because they are locked out of the apartment and Emma is inside. This is the conversation between them.
Rachel: What if she jumped out the basinet?
Ross: Can’t hold her own head up, but yeah jumped.
Rachel: Oh my god, I left the water running.
Ross: Rach you did not leave the water running. Please, just pull
yourself together, okay?
Rachel: Ah, did I leave the stove on?
Ross: You never cooked since 1996.
Rachel: Is the window open? Because if there’s a window open, a bird could fly in there.
Ross: Oh my god, you know what, yeah, I think you’re right. I think…listen, listen!
A pigeon, a pigeon. No, no wait, no-no, an eagle flew in. Landed on the stove and caught fire. The baby, seeing this, jumps across the apartment to the mighty bird’s aid. The eagle, however, misconstrues as an act of aggression and grabs the baby on its talon. Meanwhile the faucet fills the apartment with water. Baby and bird still ablaze are locked in a death grip, swirling around the whirl pool, that fills the apartment.
Rachel: Boy, are you gonna be sorry if that’s true.
Phoebe being savage
I don’t remember the exact episode, but:
Rachel: We were just talking about me not going to Ross’s wedding. It just might be too hard given all the history.
Phoebe: Wow, this reminds me of the time when I was living on the street and this guy offered to buy me food if I slept with him.
Rachel: Um, how is this like that?
Phoebe: Well, let’s see. It’s not like that because that was an actual problem and yours is, just like, a bunch of high school crap that nobody really cares about.
*shots fired*
And the King of Sarcasm Chandler Bing
The one where Chandler crosses the line:
Kathy: You have really great hair.
Chandler: Oh thanks, I grow it myself.
