Director R Balki’s upcoming romantic comedy-drama, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor, will hit screens on April 1, 2016.
The film,Ki and Ka, follows the story of a young, married couple and also features cameos by megastar Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya. The film derives its title from linguistic gender divisions of the Hindi language found in the words ladki and ladka meaning girl and boy.
“Eros and R Balki’s Ki and Ka to release on 1 April 2016. Stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor with Amitabh & Jaya Bachchan in special appearance,” trade analayst Taran Adarsh posted on twitter.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has shot for a song in this film wearing a Manish Malhotra-designed lehenga which weighs over 30 kg. The lehenga, which is said to be adorned with heavy zardosi work on several layers of net, was donned by the Jab We Met actress for a song choreographed by Bosco. She shot for the number over two days at a suburban studio.
Meanwhile, Arjun is geared up for his small screen stint. He will be hosting the seventh season of reality stunt-based show Khatron Ke Khiladi, which he has finished shooting for in Argentina.
