It was just a few days ago that we saw Arjun Kapoor’s stay-at-home husband look in the upcoming flick Ki and Ka and now there are rumours that he has replaced Sushant Singh Rajput in Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend!
Once Balaji and Mohit Suri announced that they were planning to adapt Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller Half Girlfriend into a Bollywood film, a number of actors’ names were thrown in.
Speculations were rife that Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon were already signed on for the project. But they dismissed all such rumours and went on to do another film together which is also the reason why he had to walk out of the project. The one with Dinesh Vijan. Now it can be told that Shraddha Kapoor has replaced Kriti in the film.
From what we hear, Arjun Kapoor who is also shooting for the reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ has already started preparing for the role and taking Bhojpuri lessons. The film revolves around the love story of Madhav and Riya with linguistic issues as the backdrop.
Half Girlfriend will be extensively shot in Mumbai, New York, London and in Bihar. The film is slated to go on floor in February this year.
