What happens when a judge and a convict happen to be schoolmates?
A video of a US judge in Miami recognizing her former schoolmate, who was in the docks, has gone viral online.
The BBC news video shows Arthur Booth, who has been suspected of burglary and was later chased down by the police, standing in the dock. The judge Mindy Glazer, however, recognizes the man and asks him, “I have a question for you. Did you go to Nautilus for middle school?”
Booth replies, yes and then recognizes that the judge is his former school mate.
Judge Glazer set Mr Booth’s bond at $43,000 (£27,500).
