Tying the knot when you are in 20s may be good for many couples, but IÂ am not convinced to get married in my 20s.
It’s not that I am against women getting married in their 20s, but all I know is marriage is so much better when you wait until your 30s.
I am going to give you all a few reasons why you should wait until 30s for marriage and I am sure many of you will agree to it.
You barely know yourself
In this age, you are into self-indulgence. You are exploring and finding yourself. By your 30s, you know who you are and what you can offer your partner. You are not going to outgrow each other.
Not much stable financially
Most of us aren’t that financially stable. You would agree that finance becomes a huge concern for couples and a big reason why many young couples divorce.
20s are meant for enjoyment and exploration
It’s the time to experience everything. You are young enough to make mistakes and recover from them. Young enough to get your heart broken. This experience gained, you would not waste your time dating someone in your 30s… so the partner you marry will be someone with whom you can have a successful future.
Marriage is forever! Then, why rush?
By the time you are in your 30s, you have in all likelihood seen plenty of friends and family members’ marriages succeed or fail. In other words, you will be well-aware about everything so experience and then decide whether to marry or not!
Maturity and better communication skills
Instead of fighting over little things or pushing issues under the rug, in your 30s, you will know how to address them.
You can easily have a stable social circle
Establishing self-confidence
By bringing out the best in yourself, you are enhancing your marriage.
You will feel more secure
Marrying in your 30s can mean marrying wiser with more maturity and financial security.
As they say: Longer you wait, Hotter you date
So Keep Calm. Enjoy your life and wait for Mr Perfect.
