Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West got their daughter North West baptised in Jerusalem.
The couple’s little one was officially welcomed into the Christian faith.
The couple shortened their trip to Armenia in order to fly to Israel with their 21-month-old daughter, where they had their little girl officially welcomed into the Christian faith on Monday. Kim’s sister Khloe also accompanied them on the trip.
A spokesperson for The Cathedral of Saint James, which is the principal church of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, confirmed the 30-minute religious ceremony to the Jerusalem Post newspaper.
Despite Kanye’s usual reluctance to appear on his wife’s reality show, a camera crew for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is recording the entire trip and the rapper is “happily playing along” reports tmz.com.
The family landed at Ben-Gurion Airport on Monday and had planned to stay at the Waldorf Astoria hotel, but made a last minute change after their accommodation details were leaked.
Apart from having North baptised, the couple also visited the Western Wall and other holy sites in the city, which is regarded as sacred in the Christian, Jewish and Islamic faiths, before heading to Jordan on Tuesday.
