Sanam Puri, the new age voice!
Sanam is an Indian singer and the lead vocalist of the band, Sanam.
The best part about Sanam as a singer is that he doesn’t have any formal training in music and describes his talent as “in-born”. Expert in playing guitar, piano and many other instruments, Puri’s vocal practice commenced at an age of 6, while he was in Muscat. Crediting his mother and brother Samar Puri, Puri states that it was only when he moved to Mumbai that he took music seriously.
In 2013, Puri recorded his first Bollywood song “Dhat Teri Ki” alongside Aditi Singh Sharma for the Imran Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, composed by the duo Vishal-Shekhar and penned by Kumaar. His collaboration with Vishal-Shekhar was followed by “Ishq Bulaava” from Hasee Toh Phasee.
