There seems to be no end to trouble for Salman Khan. His name has been embroiled in yet another controversy after he has been accused of assaulting and abusing a man on a flight.
A court in Andheri has asked the airport police to register an FIR against Salman Khan and his bodyguards for allegedly assaulting a social activist and snatching away his important documents on a flight last year.
R C Nagbhire, a senior inspector with the airport police was quoted as telling the daily, “Dwivedi said he was carrying important documents regarding the demise of BJP leader Gopinath Munde, which he was supposed to hand over to the government. During the flight, Dwivedi alleged, Salman Khan along with his bodyguard Vishal got into a fight with him and snatched the documents from him.”
It was further reported that when Dwidevi allegedly tried to approach the airport police after the incident, the personnel refused to register the case.
The court has now directed the police to register an FIR under sections 392 (robbery), 323 (causing hurt), 504 (insult with intention to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code against Khan and his associates.
