Ganeshotsav is quite loudly celebrated especially in the Maharashtra and during the 10 days of Ganeshotsav one can here people chanting “Ganpati bappa morya, pudhchya warshi lavkar ya”.
Now the meaning of “pudhchya warshi lavkar ya” is clear. It is a Marathi slogan which means “next year come early”.
