Best friends know all about you. How you feel, react in different situations, what are your likes and dislikes – everything. With them, you don’t need to make much of an effort because they know you inside out and are the ones who totally accept you the way you are.
But what if you fall in love with your best friend? Some may say it is the best thing to happen. Others may just be neutral. I, on this part, am going to say a big NO! I don’t think it is a good idea to fall for your best friend.
Khurki can even reason why falling in love with your BFF is a bad decision…
You lose a friend
Every best friend relationship is based on ease and we share almost everything with our BFF. But in love, you’ll end up losing that chemistry. If things get messy, you will end up losing your friend.
No stepping back
Once you fall in love with your best friend, it also means that there is no going back when things go wrong. Someone will always get hurt and you will end up losing two people, your love and your best friend.
 Fun replaced with sensitivity
Friendship means too much fun, enjoyment and the weird stuff you do together. But in a relationship, things get more sensitive.
You both will turn into someone else
High expectations might lead to relationship problems. When in a relationship he/she will be a totally different person than the friend that you knew so well.
Best friends don’t always make a good couple
Shifting and transitioning into something more will automatically lead to more expectations and disappointments.
They know too much or everything
Because you met him at the time when it was okay to reveal all, there is no way you both can let go of the past.
You will have no one to turn to
Whenever there is any trouble with anyone, you rush to your best friend. You spend hours bitching and talking about some people. What will you do when your best friend becomes indifferent.
No going back to being ‘just friends’ again
After one person confess the love for other, then things get complicated. There is no going back to being ‘just friends’ again.
