Anil Kapoor is obviously excited about Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film Dil Dhadakne Do (DDD), his first big screen release in almost two years. And so, the actor hosted a special screening of the film’s trailer at his home.
The pre-launch bash was largely attended by the cast and crew of the film, plus a smattering of friends. The film’s leading men Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar, however, were missing, as was Anushka Sharma, one of the two heroines.
Therefore, it was left to the film’s other heroine, Priyanka Chopra, to oblige the gathered shutterbugs. Piggy Chops, accompanied by mother Madhu and brother Siddharth, made a cool casual statement at the do.
Director Zoya posed for photoops with Rahul Bose, who reportedly plays an interesting character in the film. Shefali Shah was the other cast member present, with film-maker husband Vipul Shah and her two sons.
Arjun Kapoor came with sister Anshula, and Sridevi arrived with hubby Boney Kapoor while Shilpa and Shamita Shetty walked in together. Karan Johar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Farah Khan, Shirish Kunder, Anupam Kher and Mohit Marwah were also spotted at the do. Dil Dhadakne Do is slated to release on June 5.
