Actor Shahid Kapoor has finished shooting his upcoming movie Udta Punjab. The film shoot was wrapped up in Amritsar, confirmed the star actor through a tweet.

The actor considers Udta Punjab as one of the challenging roles of his career. The 34-year-old actor is sporting blue coloured streaks in the film.

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey of Dedh Ishqiya fame, the film narrates the story of substance abuse in Punjab through four different stories. Udta Punjab also stars Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh in key roles.
It is learnt that Shahid Kapoor is playing a singer for the movie. Shahid Kapoor in the past shared pictures of his look from the film but never talked about his character.
