All the speculations about whether Rani Mukerji is expecting her first child with producer cum director Aditya Chopra can now be put to rest.
Rani’s sister-in-law Jyoti Mukerji accidentally confirmed the news: “Yes, Rani is pregnant.”
Rani and Aditya had married last year in April in a private ceremony. She is now in her second trimester of pregnancy and is due in January.
The couple took off to London in July this year where a fan of Rani spotted her at a spa getting a prenatal massage, thereby adding to the rumours of her pregnancy.
But now when it is confirmed that Mrs. Chopra is pregnant, Khurki wishes Rani an easy and healthy delivery.
Rani and Aditya are currently abroad but the actress is expected to be in Mumbai for the delivery of her child.
Last seen in “Mardaani”, Rani Mukerji isn’t working on any project presently and is completely devoted to family time. She did not sign any film, though there were rumours that she was offered to play the role of Haseena Parkar, Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, in a biopic. But, Sonakshi Sinha is reported to have been signed for the role now.
Looks like she is enjoying her married life and getting used to the idea of doing nothing, but looking forward to the baby.
