To promote the cause of girl child further, the Haryana government has appointed Parineeti Chopra as the brand ambassador for its ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar tweeted on Thursday evening welcoming Parineeti Chopra for being the brand ambassador for this programme.

Parineeti Chopra hailing from Ambala in Haryana, has won several awards, including the Filmfare and National Film Award, a Haryana government release said.
A mega event has also been planned in Gurgaon on July 21 to push the campaign to new heights that is likely to be attended by the actor, it said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” campaign was launched from Panipat in January this year. The campaign is aimed at ensuring survival and protection of the girl child and also ensuring education and participation of the girl child.
