Mysterious Cities That Were Found Underground!

Humans have always wanted to build cities that could reach the sky and the ones which touch the deep depths of the earth.

Here is a list of some mysterious cities, some of which are so awesome that just reading about them, will mystify you.

1. Petra

This city is located in Jordan and dates back to the 2nd century. This is an old monastery that was carved right into the rocks.

2. Barry Troglodyte Village

People have been living in this village for over a century. The city has been carved in the hillside of a place called Rhone in France.

3. Moose Jaw

In Saskatchewan, Canada exists a town called Moose Jaw. Here are a series of tunnels where you will find homes, factories, and shops. The mafia used them for smuggling in the 19th century.

4. Leavenworth

Located in the Kansas town, this town is right below the streets. There is no confirmation of what this town was used for. Most probably it was used for bootleggers.

5. Montreal

In Montreal, there is an underground city, which spreads over 20 miles. It is the biggest underground city in the world.

6. Derinkuyu

This ancient city is located in Turkey and up to 50,000 people can reside here. It has eleven stories and dates back to the 7^th century.

7. Cheyenne Mountain

This amazing city is located in the Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado. This city is soon to become a museum.
