Here’s a prediction: Deadpool will be the most violent, most profane, most ludicrous comic-book movie ever made.
Don’t believe us, watch this:
Based on Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson. After being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, he adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool will pick up that original story from the comics, Ryan Reynolds plays the “merc with a mouth,” and if this trailer is any indication, this movie is going to earn itself a hard, hard R rating.
Besides Ryan Reynolds, the movie stars Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano and Brianna Hildebrand.
Tim Miller, director of the movie, said they initially featured the comic book character Garrison Kane. But due to budget constraints, they had to remove him.
The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on February 12 of 2016.
