While we are still reeling under the hangover of Tanu Weds Manu Returns, the reigning Queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut is all out to promote her upcoming film Katti Batti.
Supposed to be a love story, Katti Batti trailer begins with a cautionary note ‘Not a love story’. So, the intrigue sets in, made curious-er by the presentation of a complete modern day love story.
Imran Khan is Madhav Kabra aka Maddy and presented as a heart-broken boy, who falls in love with Kangana. But Kangana playing Payal is a self-proclaimed heart breaker, interested only in “time pass love”. Incidentally, this “time pass relationship” goes on for 5 long years, till one day Payal disappears and Maddy is heart broken again.
Reason: No other guy, but Maddy’s hygiene issues!
Looks like a silly excuse, but well Katti Batti Director Nikhil Advani obviously didn’t want to tell-all. You have to go and watch the movie, releasing on September 18.
Go prepared for cranky dialogues (Hold the little soldier. Kitna mushkil haio pot mein staright susu karna OR Bachhe paida karne ke liye hi to ghar le rahe hain) that Kangana is so well associated with now and hilarious comic acts of Imran.
