Himachal Pradesh Tourism has failed to rope in a brand ambassador.
In the past, many actors and actresses have been approached but nobody seems to be interested in endorsing this peaceful state.
Now, Vijay Singh Mankotia, the Vice-Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board, has stated that in a last desperate attempt, the board will approach Kangana Ranaut for representing her native state on a global platform.
Kangana Ranaut as we all know is a two-time national Award winner and hails from an aristocratic family. She belongs to the Bhambhla village and they say her ancestral palatial home has more than 30 bedrooms. According to the Minister, she has shown some keenness for the offer and might take it up seriously.
A little birdie told us that Kangana had offered to take up the responsibility sometime back, but at that time the efforts were being directed towards Preity Zinta. Who, unfortunately, has been tied up from the time she entered the tinsel town and could never spare any time for her state.
On a positive note, we hope that this collaboration comes into being, as the natural beauty in Himachal is incomparable. Where else in the world will you see towering Himalayas, fats flowing rivers, and the most simple and honest people on the planet.
