Shimla, June 28: The police arrested a person on charge of drug peddling at McLeodganj last night and seized 252 stamp shots of LSD from his possession. The accused has been identified as Dhairya Sargent alias Sunny of B -76 Dyalbagh Colony, Sector 39, Faridabad, Haryana. He was presently residing at Dharamkot.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Gandhi said a vehicle used by the accused had also been impounded. He said the drugs were supplied to foreigners at Dharamkot.
The SSP said the accused, who could be a member of an interstate gang, was being interrogated.In another case, the police have reportedly seized 8,000 capsules of habit forming drug.
