The ashes of Nobel Literature laureate Gabriel Garcia Marquez were laid to rest in Cartagena, on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, following a tribute to the author Sunday. His ashes were placed inside stonework under a specially made bust during a private ceremony in a former convent, called the Claustro de la Merced, near the home where Gabriel liked to stay. They say an artist never die, and that is certainly a fact. Writers like him might lose their life but life never lose people like him. Here’s to his memory…
