Why is it that most of the Bollywood couples are heading towards Splitsville?
The Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif breakup rocked the tinsel town early this year, making everyone go numb over their split. Before the B-town could get over this shock, another couple gave a jolt with the announcement of their divorce. Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar separated after being married for 15 years. Both of them have since maintained the decency of a breakup by not going public with any details.
And now rumours are abuzz that one of the best couples from Bollywood fraternity Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan, too, are headed towards divorce after being happily married for 17 years. Malaika and Arbaz tied the knot in 1998 and have a son, Arhaan.
Surprised? If the rumour mongers are to believed, Malaika is said to be dating a British businessman. Even at Salman Khan’s star-studded 50th birthday party last month, the duo maintained distance, according to onlookers. She has now apparently moved out of Khan’s family to her Bandra residence along with her son.
The reason behind their split is not known yet, but rumour also has it that Malaika and Arjun Kapoor’s close proximity has not gone down well with Arbaaz Khan. Their alleged link-ups have been doing the rounds for quite some time now.
Malaika and Arbaaz are, meanwhile, appearing together as hosts of a Sony TV reality show ‘Power Couple’. But after a few episodes, the actress went missing and Arbaaz hosted the show alone.
Though Malaika’s representatives have denied the news and said the couple was very much in love, could there really be trouble in paradise?
