Having donned a variety of roles, the Khiladi of Bollywood is going to play a naval officer in his upcoming flick Rustom.
Akshay Kumar, who was last seen in Airlift giving a spectacular performance, is presumably following the adage that women love men in uniforms quite seriously. And when the man is our own dashing Khiladi Akshay Kumar, what else you need. That’s why Holiday first wherein Akshay played an Army officer and now Rustom!

Akshay will play Parsi character, Rustom Pavri in director Tinu Suresh Desai’s romantic thriller Rustom.
Not much is known of the film’s plot as of yet. But it is said in the backdrop of 1950s. The film’s producers said: “The film is set in the late 1950s and is a pure work of fiction. Rustom is inspired from certain real life incidents that happened in the past and will be shot in India as well as in Britain”.
Written by Neeraj Pandey and Vipul Rawal, Rustom also stars Esha Gupta and lleana D’Cruz.
As Akshay is known for playing diversified roles, really looking forward to see him in Naval officer’s role! Rustom will hit theaters on 12 August.
