Why we should not celebrate Halloween in India is not about how it is not a part of Hindu culture and blah blah blah..

But we have some valid reasons why Halloween should not be the part of festivals in India. It’s time people are receiving invitations for Halloween parties and without knowing anything about it, people are preparing to celebrate something they have no idea about.

Halloween is all about remembering the departed souls, of the martyr, saints and all the faithful departed believers.

But what’s the point celebrating it in India and that too just after the few days when you are done with ‘Shraadhs’. Khurki is here to give you the reasons why we should not celebrate Halloween:

1 Are we short on ‘our’ festivals?

In India, it’s time to take a break from break!!

2 We celebrate births in the name of Jayanti, and have a shut down when somebody important dies

In India Halloween be like, a “Bandh” as that’s what is done in India when somebody important dies.

3 We terrorize our children with such characters and then party with them “Fu$k logic!”

That’s like playing with kids’ beliefs and making them skeptic about what we always tell them.

 

4 Indian control-freak parents will dress their kids as dead doctors, engineers, lawyers, et al

5 There might be a religious war if, God forbid, somebody dressed up as god is caught enjoying a drink at the party!

6 On your way to Halloween party, you might get forced and taken to some baba for a jhaada

This is a possibility indeed, trust us people this can definitely happen with you!

7 Saving yourselves from stray dogs won’t be easy

To be or not to be is now your personal decision, but don’t forget “14 injections lagenge” !!!

8 8. Explaining old school parents or grand parents about Halloween will make you a real life Zombie

Explaining a desi dad what a Vampire or Zombie is not easy shit to deal with buddy!!
