In a recent development twitter increased its character limit from 140 to 280 characters. It was no less than a reverse demonetization of twitter world. Also just like demonetization there were many supporters and critics of the move.
But the kinda people we like are those who are on the side of meme making. Tweeters who never fail to amuse you and always share content that you would want to share & save. So we give you the Khichdi of mixed reaction from tweeters all over the world.
This is a small change, but a big move for us. 140 was an arbitrary choice based on the 160 character SMS limit. Proud of how thoughtful the team has been in solving a real problem people have when trying to tweet. And at the same time maintaining our brevity, speed, and essence! https://t.co/TuHj51MsTu
