A 5-month-old baby was killed in a suspected human sacrifice as part of a witchcraft ritual in Ongole City, on Monday.

The news broke out on the complaint from neighbours that parents of the baby themselves allegedly killed the baby in Mother Teresa Colony.
This has been supposedly done as an offering to appease the Mother Goddess.
A police team rushed to the spot, said Superintendent of Police Ch. Srikanth but no further details are available at this point.

Police has arrested the father and mother of the baby.
