Siddhanth Kapoor brother of Shraddha Kapoor and son of Shakti Kapoor has been detained for allegedly consuming drugs. On the basis of a tip-off, Bengaluru police took this action after a raid at a hotel on MG Road where Siddhanth was partying!
According to Bengaluru police, Siddhanth is among six people allegedly found to have consumed drugs.

Almost two years ago, Shraddha Kapoor along with Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakul Preet Singh were summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) over an FIR primarily based on Rhea Chakraborty’s WhatsApp chats purportedly discussing drugs.

After Siddhanth was detained his father Shakti Kapoor said: “I am not aware of anything. I have just gotten up from my sleep and my phone has started ringing continuously. He hasn’t been arrested but detained by the cops for consumption (of drugs). I don’t think there was any possession.”
Sanjay Gupta’s crime film Shootout at Wadala was Siddhant’s first movie. Later, he featured in psychological thriller film “Ugly”. He started his career as an assistant director in films like, 2006 comedy murder mystery Bhagam Bhag, 2007 comedy-horror Bhool Bhulaiya.

Along with the 37-year-old Siddanth Kapoor, Akhil Soni, Harjot Singh, Hani and Akhil, a freelance photographer, were also detained. Two packets of drugs were found near the dustbin. One had four rose-coloured pills and other had three blue-coloured pills.
