Always Share Your Joy And Pain With The Almighty!

0

While I was going through a very bad time and was trying hard to survive, I realised how badly I needed the Almighty to help me get up and be strong. We take many wrong steps in life that make us feel hopeless, guilty and sometimes unloved. In times like these, we connect with God and begin to have a close relationship with him because he listens to you without being judgemental. Over the years, I have learnt a few things that helped me to be strong during hardships and here’s hoping they help you too.

6 Listen to prayers or religious songs

I have many songs & prayers in my phone but my favourite is ‘Atif Aslam’s Tajdar-e-Haram‘. Listen to these prayers or songs to help with your problems and you will also find answers to questions about life that you are trying to find since long.

5 Find someone who is positive – priest or a friend

It’s important to have one person in life around you who is positive, non-judgemental, supportive and wants the best for you. It can take years or just a few days to find the right person whom you trust and who trusts you back. They can become your great guides. In the meantime, just do your best to be closer to the one who loves you the most, God.

4 Talk with God anywhere, anytime!

Before talking to anyone about your bad days or victories, talk with Him first. Trust me, you will never feel alone if you include Him in everything.

3 Remember to pay Him a visit

Reach out to Him, be it in a gurdwara, temple or serving the poor. God is omnipresent. Try to visit the place where you see your God. Service them whenever you are free but be there. He is always happy to see us visit Him or helping the needy.

2 Have a weekly date with him

I do it almost every day. He is always there to listen. He is better than any of my best friends. Tell him your problems, full week story and everything else – just don’t be afraid to be honest with the Almighty.

1 Live your faith

This might sound like the hard part, yet when we make the above things a priority in our life, then living out our faith becomes a reality
