Rumours have it that our Top Gun, yes we are talking about Tom Cruise… is the next Iron Man! These rumours trickled in when we saw leaked images of Tom Cruise in Iron Man’s suit.
Trailer of Doctor Strange added credibility to rumours
The rumours pointed towards the possibility of them being true when the trailer of “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness” was released. The trailer has left fans both confused and excited. Some die-hard fans spotted a hint of Iron Man in the trailer.
The more intriguing part of the story is that some fans believe that it’s Tom Cruise who’s seen in the trailer.
All Marvel Universe movies are connected and its fan base ranges from a teenager to a tricenarian. There is no clarity on other Marvel characters being in ‘Doctor Strange’, but the possibility of it cannot be ruled out yet.
Be it ‘I LOVE YOU 3000’ or Iron Man’s iconic suit-ups, none of the Iron Man moments failed to make us fall in love with him!
For those who are new to Marvel Universe, first Marvel movie Iron Man came in 2008. Its futuristic theme and the power of CGI left everyone asking for more. Then came Iron Man 2 in 2010 and another sequel in 2013.
Iron man’s character was that of a “Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist”. From Iron Man to Avengers Endgame, Iron Man was seen risking his life many times to save the world.

Finally, in ENDGAME Iron Man sacrificed his life to save the world. Iron Man is loved not only just for the impact of Marvel Cinematic Universe but majorly by Robert Downey Jr.’s superb and enigmatic performance.
Well, there is no doubt that Tom Cruise is a legend but I think it will take Iron Man’s fans time to adjust to this change. RDJ played Iron Man in all the movies from 2008 to 2013.

These rumours have their own set of enthusiastic movie goers looking forward to the change. But there are some who are not ready for Robert Downey Jr.’s replacement. I must admit that I might just be one of the ardent fans of RDJ.
