Prime Minister Narendra Modi today travelled by the Delhi Metro from Dhaula Kuan in south west Delhi to Dwarka in west Delhi.
The PM, accompanied by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, was on his way to inaugurate the National Intelligence Academy.
“Sreedharan ji would always tell me to experience the Delhi Metro. Today I had the opportunity to do so on the way to Dwarka,” the PM tweeted after the ride. E Sreedharan was the chief of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation till 2009.
