Yet another online lottery scam..
Bollywood actor Karan Singh Grover was the latest one to fall prey to Nigerian Online Lottery Scam.
He recently filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police stating that he had transferred an amount of Rs 5.6 lakh which was the ‘processing fee’ for claiming his ‘winning lottery amount’ and never received anything in return.
The payment was made following an email received by him informing that he has won a lottery online.
When he tried to contact the fraudsters, they were obviously not reachable.
Mumbai Police started probing the case after Karan Grover shared his account details with them.
