Big news for all the iPhone lovers out there….
Apple has introduced new versions of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus at an event on Wednesday in San Francisco, California.
Apple unveiled iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus – described by CEO Tim Cook as the “most advanced phones ever”. Pre-orders for the new iPhone models begin this Saturday and the new iPhone models are likely to be launched in select countries later this month, around September 25.
The iPhone 6s launch in India is likely around the festival of Diwali in November. iPhone 6s price in India could be higher than iPhone 6 due to the depreciation of the rupee, though a lot can change between now and its launch. What is known at the moment is pre-orders for custom phone cases have gone through the roof since this announcement was made.
The highlight of the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is expected to be camera improvements, as they are expected to come with a 12-megapixel rear camera sensor and 4K video recording support. Another big addition to the new Apple smartphones is expected to be the introduction of Force Touch technology, which can detect the difference between a ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ touch on the screen, letting software respond differently to each action. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are also expected to come in a new Rose Gold colour.
Also, you can link your new iPhone to your computer so that you can listen to and use your music, playlists, and other things from your device on your computer.
