I have always loved the way Ranbir Kapoor imitates the yesteryear star of Hindi cinema Dev Anand saab, be it in terms of style or dialogues in his movies.
But is it a perfect imitation of Dev Anand?
Everyone is looking forward to Tamasha release on November 27. Ranbir Kapoor has supposedly given one of his best performances in this movie.
Ranbir and Deepika have a sizzling chemistry..be it on-screen or in real life. But right now I’ll only talk about this upcoming project…This one seems to have got the duo back in love after “Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani”.
In their recent song Matargashti, Ranbir Kapoor’s body language, facial expressions and mannerisms are truly in line with that of the legendary romantic hero Dev Saab. His jovial persona has also been kept intact .
The promo also had a dialogue in which Ranbir is imitating Dev Saab’s eshtyle…

Director Imtiaz Ali says the romantic drama is a demanding film in terms of performances and story-telling. Not bothered about people’s expectations from the movie, he feels Tamasha has its own individuality and a new set of challenges.
Known for his poignant presentation of modern-day love stories, Imtiaz said Hindi movies present a certain moral sense that the society harbours. “I feel Indian films, more than anything else, are instrumental and responsible for a sense of morality that we have in the society,” he’s reported to have said.
