Shimla, Sep 29: Employees of the state and central governments deployed on duties in the assembly election in Himachal Pradesh would be entitled for taking cashless medical treatment during hospitalization in any government or private hospital. State government has already made the necessary arrangements for the cashless facilities.
In this regard state government also issued a notification. Meanwhile, the State Election department has urged the eligible electors to make their photo identity cards, as the special campaign launched to register the new electors was ending in 30 September 2017.
A spokesperson of the department said that booth level officers were preparing the photo identity cards by visiting each household. The voters who have completed 18 years of age on January 1, 2017 would be eligible for making their cards and exercise their franchise in coming Vidhan Sabha elections.
He said that eligible voter should fill up form number-6 along with required documents and apply to the booth level officers or offices of SDM and Tehsildar concerned. They can also apply online on the web portal www.nvsp.in .
