Shimla, July 4: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said he was a victim of false cases but he had full faith in the judiciary and truth will ultimately prevail on he said Monday. “Since I have yet to go through the judgment given by the Delhi High Court today, I will determine the next legal course of action after holding consultations with my lawyers,” he reacted.
He said he had dedicated his entire life in serving the people of the state. Truth will ultimately prevail. “Having faced falsely registered cases even in the past, I have always come out clean after the courts acquitted me,” he said. He said that this time also it was going to be a long drawn battle but in the end truth will prevail.
The Chief Minister said he has faced two session trials during the previous BJP regime in the state based on false, fabricated and frivolous allegations but have been acquitted honourably by the courts. He added that he has full support of the people of the state who have known him for decades in his personal as well as political life.
