Shimla, June 9: Ten students were injured when a school bus of Police Training College, Daroh, met with an accident at Dehan, 6 km from yesterday afternoon. Over 15 students were travelling in the bus, when the accident occurred.
Eyewitnesses said the bus hit two vehicles on the Palampur-Hamirpur national highway and turned turtle. Ten students sustained injuries. Schoolchildren told mediapersons that the bus was being driven rashly by the driver, which led to the accident. Kangra SP Sanjiv Gandhi said the matter was under probe and if it was proved that the driver was drunk and driving rashly, strict action would be taken against him. He said it was a serious matter and the police would not spare anybody.
