The AAP Government led by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi has decided to give employment to acid attack victims and a committee will be formed to look into the issues of survivors.
According to reports, Arvind Kejriwal received the representation from acid attack victims who asked for government jobs to be extended to them.
According to official figures, there are 35 acid attack survivors in the city.
Chief Minister has further directed that applications from the acid attack victims be invited by the service department and be considered on priority basis for any suitable vacancies, current or future, which may be filled on contract or permanent basis.
