I have heard about it and also seen a lot of the damage it leaves behind. But well, what I didn’t realize was that experiencing it for the first time can actually make you a changed person.
Today’s earthquake shook me…inside out!
Today, on 26th October 2015, I have a confession to make. “I confess that I was scared. I was feeling like a tiny particle in the universe who had no control over what was happening. I felt that love, emotions, feelings, work, job, money, fame and everything else would not help me if nature gets angry. I confess that my heart was beating fast.. trembling with fear – what if? What if the bricks of my house topple over the ones who are close to my heart? Would I still be proud of the posh locality that I am residing in? What if today the roads crack and I’m pulled into the depths of Earth? Would anyone be able to even do my last rites? What if today was my last day alive? Would I be happy that I’ve done it all? I confess – I was scared”…
I was teary eyed while writing what I just experienced..!! Not sure about how many of you readers felt the same way, but today I could feel the grief of those who had lost their families to the deadly deeds of nature.
