I wasn’t in the highest of spirits when I bought the tickets to Ajay Devgn starrer-Drishyam. But, in the end I was glad that I watched it..!!
Drishyam…as the tagline says – “Visuals can be deceptive” is a very ajeeb si movie…I mean in a positive sense…you don’t end up feeling ke yaar ye to CID men dekha hua hai…or abbey kya bakwas hai yaar or kuch bhi yani kuch bhiiiii type of feeling nahi aati…rather I ended up saying sahi picture thi ya..!!
Ab batati hoon what this one’s all about…Basically, Ajay Devgn plays a normal guy who isn’t educated..chauthi fail, to be precise and has a wife who is 10th pass and two daughters. He runs a cable business and loves watching ‘cinema’. Rather is passionate about it and learns a lot from these movies.
Tabu on the other hand plays an IG of Police and gets this family interrogated tortuously due to an involvement of their’s in a personal dil ke kareeb kinda case…based on 1 man’s shaq who too is a policeman named Gaitonde and jiski Vijay (Ajay Devgn) se bilkul nahi banti.
Hats off to Ajay’s acting and eyes (katilaana) and Tabu’s proper policewaali memsaab kinda attitude in the movie, which certainly makes it a movie worth watching!
Isse aage agar maine bata diya to suspenswa khatam ho jaega budbak…khud jao aur dekhke ao…
The film is a remake of the Malayalam all-time blockbuster film of the same name, written and directed by Jeethu Joseph with Mohanlal and Meena in the lead.
