Speaking at a function organised by Mumbai police to create better awareness of traffic rules, the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan said, “The rules and laws were made by British in our country when India was a police state. Today, we are independent and we need to change the archaic British laws that we follow.”

He even distributed helmets at the function and inaugurated the public awareness hoardings set up by the Mumbai Police and traffic department. The superstar also reiterated his commitment in helping Mumbai police for creating traffic awareness.
