Ask any Bhutanese about his favourite dish and he will say – Ema Datshi. It is a steaming hot dish made of cheese and chillies. They can have it in all three meals and as a main course or side dish. Vegetarians can choose from a long list of dishes made from delightful fresh locally found vegetables. Do not be stuck up on having momos, try the ethnic dishes like red rice and nettles.
