The venue is owned by the AIRL Group, which has opened Asha’s venues across the globe, although the Manchester site is only the second in the UK after Birmingham. The restaurant is a 170-year-old building and it cost two million pounds (USD 1.5 million) for its renovation. It wears a simple look with purple as accent colour and is decorated with booths clustered along one wall and lighting hanging from the ceilings.
The latest tweet from Ashaji shows it to us:
Welcome to my second home at Asha’s Restaurant, Manchester. Iconic decor in a heritage building. See you soon ! pic.twitter.com/pg8bGdqUqJ — ashabhosle (@ashabhosle) September 18, 2015
The menu is traditional Indian cuisine with many of the dishes named as a tribute to the singer A’s connections and career.
