Big Announcement!! Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has been roped in to play the antagonist in superstar Rajinikanth’s Enthiran 2.0, which went on the floors in Chennai on Wednesday.
Akshay Kumar is all set to make his first Tamil film but in a negative role. Yes, he will be playing the villain in the movie.
Earlier, the makes of the movie planned to rope in The Terminato” star Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it didn’t work out and the deal didn’t happen.
Enthiran 2.0 is the sequel to Enthiran will be directed by Shankar. Also starring leading lady Amy Jackson, who will reportedly be playing a robot, the film is being produced by Lyca Productions.
The movie is being shot in the 3D format and several top technicians have joined the project to ensure it turns out to be a world class film. For special costumes, which also play a key role in the film, Mary E Vogt has been roped in.
Akshay Kumar recently, shared his feeling of gratitude of being part of Robot 2. This is what he tweeted:

A.R Rahman will compose the tunes, Nirav Shah will crank the camera.
Enthiran 2 is expected to be made on a record amount budget in the history of Indian cinema.
