If you’ve had a recent heartbreak and alcohol is your new best friend, this blog is for you! Nooo I ain’t telling you how to handle a heartbreak because even I suck at it. What I am going to tell you are some ways you can recover from those hangovers, headaches, fatigue and the accompanying nausea.
Avoid booze
Now, that defeats the entire purpose of me writing this blog. This is the most tried and tested way to fight a hangover – by not having one in the first place. LoL
That said, it is difficult to do so especially when you are all broken inside and are sitting in the dimly-lit room of yours and listening to sad songs or having Jagjit Singh as your company. In such a case, read on on how to at least get over with the hangover as getting over love is going to be a difficult think to expect. No?
Get some water in your body
“Who will care to have water when you have DARU?” As weird it is, it might save you from those headaches! Rehydrating the body by drinking water may help to improve the symptoms of a hangover. So if you’re finding yourself in this situation, just go grab a couple of glasses of water and get yourself some ease!! Keep the diuretics out please…
Sip those electrolytes
Let’s talk science! Your system needs some carbohydrates. Drinking tends to lower blood sugar levels, so theoretically some of the fatigue and headaches of a hangover may be from a brain working without enough of its main fuel. So prepare a toast and juice so that you can gently nudge these levels back to normal.
Vitamins and zinc
Higher amounts of vitamins and zinc can help you overcome severe hangovers. So give your body some vitamins and zinc before or after your drinking sessions and see the results!!!!
Who doesn’t like to sleep like a baby?
One thing we all love, one thing we all want all day but at night it’s gone! When it comes to getting over from your hangover, time and rest may be the best medicine. So slip back under the covers and give yourself a good restorative sleep!!!

Fuel Up On Potassium Powerhouses
Have fruits rich in potassium like bananas, apples, avocados, dates or grabbing a fruity salad can be really helpful. Make yourself a banana smoothie with a tablespoon of honey and get back the minerals that your body lost due to alcohol!
Eat up Crackers or Toast with Honey
Dry, bland choices like crackers and whole-wheat bread will boost blood sugar without upsetting your stomach. Drizzle some honey on top for an extra kick.
Bag your symptoms with tea
CHAIIIII, Love of Indians!! Reach out for some herbal tea if your stomach is having a difficult time or a cup of coffee, as caffeine acts as a stimulant and can help you beat the grogginess!!!
How can we forget Asprin
Taking a pain reliever helps in getting rid of the hangovers and make us feel better. I mean it’s not the best way out but for sure can help you when in need!
